Coaches

The coach’s role is one of teaching soccer skills and sportsmanship to the players while communicating practice and game times to the players and parents. The coach is also responsible for monitoring the behavior of the players and parents during practice and games. All coaches within the soccer program will promote good sportsmanship among players, foster team camaraderie, and help participants have fun while teaching technical skills of soccer, at an age appropriate level.

Protecting the health and safety of our players, coaches, and families is everyone's responsibility. Please use the links below to complete required screenings and training as part of your journey with ERYVSL. If you encounter issues or have questions, please email us at compliance@eelriversoccer.com. Coaches will be assigned to coach their child’s team.

***Coaching tips......Elect a parent assistant from your team to help watch the benched players while in play or to fill in for you should you be unable to attend a game. Assistant coaches must be fully compliant if they wish to be on the players sideline during games.
